Japan’s Pokémon Card Gym promotional pack line-up for August 2026 has been revealed, led by new Mega Tatsugiri ex and Lida cards alongside alternate-art and stamped promotional prints.
The packs will begin being distributed through participating Japanese Gym tournaments from 1 August 2026.
What Is Included in the August Promo Pack?
Each promotional pack contains one card from a seven-card line-up. The revealed selection includes:
- Mega Tatsugiri ex
- Lida
- Wimpod with alternate artwork
- Tynamo with alternate artwork
- Three stamped reprints
Mega Tatsugiri ex and Lida are new cards, while the Wimpod and Tynamo cards provide new artwork for existing card identities.
How the Japanese Tournament Distribution Works
According to the reported distribution details, participants at eligible Japanese Pokémon Card Gym tournaments receive two promotional packs. The event winner receives an additional pack.
