Pokémon TCG Delta Reign Fully Revealed for November 2026

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign has now been fully revealed ahead of its 6 November 2026 English release, giving Australian collectors a much clearer picture of the set, its chase structure and how cards from Japan’s Storm Emeralda are being reshuffled for English.

PokeBeach’s 20 August reveal confirms an expansion of more than 140 cards, headlined by Mega Rayquaza ex and three other new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. The biggest collector-specific change is that the Kyogre Illustration Rare from Storm Emeralda is being removed from the main English set and used as the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box promo instead.

Delta Reign release date and prerelease window

Delta Reign is scheduled to release in English on 6 November 2026. Prerelease events are scheduled from 24 October to 1 November.

Australian retailer pricing and allocations can vary, so collectors should compare local listings rather than relying on overseas MSRP. Our Pokémon TCG preorder guide for Australia covers the main things to check before locking in sealed product.

What is confirmed in Delta Reign?

  • More than 140 cards
  • Four new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, including Mega Rayquaza ex alongside Mega Evolution Pokémon ex featuring Golurk, Malamar and Golisopod
  • Six Pokémon ex
  • More than a dozen Trainer cards, including three new Legendary Stadiums
  • 14 Illustration Rare Pokémon
  • 17 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards
  • Six Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards

The set also introduces split Stadium cards with “Legendary” in their names. Both halves are required together, creating a distinctive deck-building mechanic that visually echoes older two-part cards.

Storm Emeralda is not being copied one-for-one

For collectors who already followed the Japanese release, the important point is that Delta Reign is not simply a direct English copy of Storm Emeralda. PokeBeach reports that it combines material from multiple Japanese sources, including Storm Emeralda and the MEGA Starter Decks featuring Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex.

That means Japanese and English master sets will differ, and card placement matters. The clearest confirmed example is Kyogre: its Illustration Rare was part of Storm Emeralda in Japan, but in English it becomes the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box promo rather than a normal set card.

Why the Kyogre ETB promo matters

For Australian buyers, the Kyogre change makes the Elite Trainer Box more relevant than it would be if the card remained in booster packs. Collectors chasing that artwork will have a direct sealed-product route rather than needing to pull or buy the Japanese version.

It also means a Storm Emeralda master set and a Delta Reign master set should not be treated as interchangeable checklists. If you collect both Japanese and English, check the final numbered English list before buying duplicates simply because a card appeared in Storm Emeralda.

What should Australian collectors watch next?

The main things to watch are Australian preorder pricing, local allocations, the final numbered English checklist and early singles pricing once more English product reaches the market. Mega Rayquaza is the obvious headline chase, but the six Special Illustration Rares and Kyogre ETB promo could materially affect which sealed products offer the best value for different collectors.
